Screen in 'negative'

This question is not about internet explorer but I couldn't post it until I had selected one of the options. Our 6 year old son has somehow turned our screen so that everything, all screensavers, photos, applications etc are showing as a 'negative' image. Eg the google home page is black with white type, as is this page. Ical is now black, all photos look like photo negatives. We have tried everything we can think of in the set up to turn this off but to no avail. Please help.

Check the Universal Access system preferences.
There is a preference there to "invert" the screen, (Display> White on
Black)
